We fed Dalton in that Boppy forever....until the day that thankfully we had him sitting in it in the floor and then we got distracted doing something else and turn back around and he is out of it...YIKES! He looks like you in the eyes I think...so cute!
I'm anxious to hear how the eating goes! Please post about it, b/c we're still several weeks away but I'm already kind of scared. Just have no idea how to go about it. And do you have any ideas how to feed young babies best when their legs don't fit in the Bumbo? I'll have to figure that out soon too, I guess.
Steph: You might be right about his hair. He has totally lost his baby mullet (bittersweet). And his hair on top is getting long, but it might also be getting thinner? I don't know. I look at him every day.
Have you considered cutting Katie's thumb off? Just a thought. You could even be merciful and just cut it off to the knuckle.
micah - katie is my child. not my cat. she shall retain her thumb. i put a dora bandaid on it today which worked for a while. her front teeth are beginning to pushding out though
when i started my babies on rice cereal, i only used a little, and mostly at first they just push it out of their mouth (if you start early 4-5 months) but if they are ready, they will eat more than they push out with their tongue. and i would tilt the high chair all the way back or use a bouncer - instead of them sitting upright in a bumbo. but jessie used the bumbo (i think)
on another note, i am considering cutting the girls hair again. because i am tired of brushing it for 30 minutes a day (and i am so not exaggerating, i have timed this). that's 3.5 hrs a week. not. fun. anymore.
i was going to say a trip to the beach, noting his attire, or lack thereof, but i guess i'll go with the majority and say spoon-feeding. and is that his trademark drool ready to drip?
I think you need to swaddle him much tighter (or "more tightly," as you would say---) to keep him from growing so much! He looks like such a big boy :(
Dad: Yep, that's drool. It's starting to get out of control. There is a string of it hanging from his mouth at all times.
Mom: Do I say "more tightly"? And I need you to suggest something that will keep him from growing AND keep time from passing so quickly. He will be five stinking months old next week :(
