This morning I went to Kroger with a list of six items. Each of these items cost less than $4, but somehow I still managed to buy $70 worth of groceries. This is getting way out of hand. What will become of our family when I have to buy groceries for more than two people?!

i have the opposite problem. i stick almost totally to the list and get nothing else. then when i get home clark claims "there is nothing to eat except ingredients." pfff. i think it helps when you go to a crappy grocery store (like galveston walmart) instead of a nice one (kroger). nice grocery stores inspire me to buy more. maybe that's why they are so nice. . . like las vegas.
Oh my gosh! I do the "5 things on the list, 50 things in the cart" ALL THE TIME! I'm pitiful. My mother would say, "make a menu," but here's my issue. I never like what I decide upon, three days later, when I have all the ingredients and no desire to put them all together. And let's face it, I HATE eating the same thing for six days in a row, which is what ends up happening when you're one person. :) So, I should never try to procreate cuz that's just going to compound the problem!
BTW, procreate doesn't look right, but I don't have any desire to look it up in the dictionary ...
Micah-regarding the walgreens deals, start with this blog. It will educate you on using coupons, and combining them with deals at , Walgreens, CVS, etc. She also references a lot of other blogs. I wish I had more time to try and save money this way. When Walgreens has their coupon I try to take advantage of it by using it to stock up on toiletry items. It can be addictive though, so consider yourself forewarned :).
